Imprisoned with Cabin Fever

In 14.5 years living with this view, there has never been such long bars of ice. The icicles have grown past the lower sills of the second floor windows. One can imagine the resemblance to jail cell bars, keeping you inside. Being held captive by "Warden, Old Man Winter". It has been said that we will be getting pases for visitation to the outside world with temps in the 40's for the last part of this week. I'm going to miss those pretty 'bars'... just a little.
