Little Buttermilk Falls

Waterfalls in Owego N.Y.

With the warming temp's the Waterfalls have melted and are running again. This is Owego's version of "Buttermilk Falls" a small set of waterfalls on a side road just off Glenmary drive in Owego. A very nice place just to sit and listen to the water flowing over the rocks and to photograph it ...

On Spaulding Hill Road: is it on Owego Creek, Catatonk Creek or at the other end at Straits Corners on Pipe Creek?

I went to google maps and looked for Spualding road in Owego. No far from the east end of the road was a label for Buttermilk Falls

I found it today but the only water was frozen. I guess I will go back when it warms up again.

We went there today, 8-17-14. It is posted as private property, no trespassing for any reason. There is no real trail and it is not marked in any way. We had to ask a resident nearby where it was. She laughed at my idea of going there.
