Chomping on some birdseed!

My Dailey Visitor

This Fox has been coming to my birdfeeder almost daily since June 1. She is not agressive at all, just loves that birdseed. I'm guessing she started coming around for these quick, easy meals as she is obviously nursing some young ones, and doesn't leave them for long. I always keep my distance, but look forward to see her every day. Maybe someday she will bring the rest of the family with her!

I too was very alarmed at first! But after a few visits, it was clear she was just coming for the bird seed. I can be about 15' away, and she isn't bothered, any closer than that she scoots away Now I just watch from the deck, and enjoy!

I spotted a fox in my yard once and became alamed because it was out in the middle of the day. I called a wild-life rescuer friend of mine and she said " don't worry, she is just tired and hungry from nursing older kits and needs a quick meal."
