After Wednesday's storm, I went to look at the river level of the Chenango and spotted this Heron on a driftwood Island that has been building up since the '06 flood. After allowing me to take a few pictures of him, He squawked and flew off. Apparently the rising river hadn't bothered him, but my presence did.
