First Planted

Back to life

I am no garden guru , matter of fact I almost kill every plant I get, but this year I was determined to have a beautiful garden!!! So I went to lowes and bought a bunch of perennials from the clearance section, I figured why kill a luscious vibrant plant when I can try to nurse the ones noone wants back to life, well I grabbed all the wilted ones from the clearance rack only spent ninety dollars and got enough to flourish my entire front yard , then the.kids and I went to the creek by the house and.grabbed some rocks , to be honest I didn't think they would do good , see we live up by castle creek off upper front so we get flooded anytime we get a good amount of rain, my neighbors and family agreed that the front yard was too rocky and the dirty was more like clay.now from all the floods, but we dug the yard up and planted the dimming flowers, I swear I looked out the.window everyday hoping they'd spruce up , well its been a month now and the flowers are actually blooming , thriving, growing!!! I must admit there is no feeling like that of accomplishments, I am so proud of myself and now my husband, children , and I can come.home to a beautiful front yard, I even got some of the neighborhood coming up with there own lawn ideas, we'll have a beautiful road in no time :)
