Did you know that the Apalachin Lions Club has been maintaining a small park in Apalachin on the corner of Main St. and Rt. 434?The Lions have been taking care of the park for over twenty years. We cut the grass, keep the flag flying and lighted at night. At Christmas, the tree is decorated with lights. A few years ago, the Apalachin Gardner Club asked for help in cutting its grass at the small park on the other corner across from the Lions Park. We also took this on. This is one small part of the service the Lions do for our community.
