This is Maggie and her owner doesn't take proper care of her. She is left in a kennel for over 20 hours a day on a hot enclosed porch. And with the humidity and hot tempuratures I am afraid she will die. I contacted the Humane Society for the second time in about a week yesterday and they said there are other animals with higher priority. It's almost like a dog being locked in a hot car. Will Maggie have to die before something is done?
This poor dog needs to be rescued!!

If it were me, I'd take the dog, keep it, and take care of it myself. Unfortunately, that is illegal. Just keep calling the cops until they get bothered enough to do something about it. Otherwise, try talking some sense into the dog's owner.
