(Newark Valley, NY) The Newark Valley Cardinals took it to the visiting Watkins Glen Seneca's in High School football today with a score of 39-23 at the final buzzer. The score was not indicative of what the actual game was as NV appeared to let up a little bit in the latter portion of the 4th quarter allowing the Seneca's to sneak in a late touchdown with less than a minute or so remaining. The Cardinals capitalized on several bad passes and/or reception attempts which resulted in interceptions that went in their favor. Two or three of these interceptions were returned for touchdowns.
