Maggie lives in a kennel most of her days. About 20 hours or more daily. I have called dog control and they say that it's the Endicott Police Departments job to handle it. I have called the Humane Society twice. And I just recently called the Endicott Police, who told me that this is a case for dog control. The Endicott Sergeant said that he will speak to one of his officers that deals with animal issues, but animal "abuse" is not a top priority for them at the moment. Then he transferred me to dispatch to make a complaint, which by the way you can't do annonymously, evidently. And the officer I spoke with then said "It's not animal abuse if she is fed and has water!" Well, it has food and water, for a short time during the day. And sometimes nothing until after 10pm, some nights even later! An Officer came to my home and questioned me even though I didn't want my name involved and said that he would "look" at the dog to determine abuse and go from there! What is wrong with society today? If you know of anyone that can help Maggie , send them to 314 Oak Hill Ave first floor, apartment. Maggie is always locked on the front porch in her kennel. Please, help her!!
The law won't help Maggie either!!
