(Newark Valley, NY) First of all, I was born and raised in Binghamton - I'm more of a "big city" type who is now living in Berkshire amongst the smaller division schools. With that in mind, I'm honestly not sure what class school the Newark Valley Cardinals play in - but whatever it is - they are definitely making a statement about just how good they are. ( even if they don't have a terribly frightening or intimidating name / mascot ) Last week the Cards handled Watkins Glen with relative ease. This week they laid down the law and completely dominated the visiting Spartans from Elmira Heights. Final score - 43-6.
When did Cardinal's become scary?
