(Newark Valley, NY) The high flying Newark Valley Cardinals took to the field this past Saturday afternoon against a visiting Hancock High Wildcats. The Cards did what the Cards have been doing so far this season - jumping out to a quick and commanding lead early on. They went into half time leading 35-6 lead and this looked to be a repeat of last weeks blowout against Elmira. The Wildcats had other plans coming into the 2nd half though and were not about to just roll over and die. The 'Cats came back out firing and firing often with QB Dylan Oralls passing, and connecting, to a multitude of receiving weapons that he had at his disposal. The next thing you knew this game was down to a 7 point difference. The Cards bounced back though capitalizing on a turnover and then turning up the throttle on thier defense to rack up a few more points and seal the deal. Final score: 43-28
High Flying NV Cards off to 3-0 start
