18 people from churches around the southern tier gathered at the home of Capt. Tom Meyer near South Gibson, PA on Saturday, Oct 4th to cut, split and stack firewood to help keep his family warm this winter. Ladies also prepared food for the group. Capt. Meyer is currently serving in Afghanistan with the PA National Guard. He is expected home in December.
