I doubt this is the place to write this... But I'll try anyways.
Currently Binghamton University and Sodexo are in contract negotiations, and as always the employee say is little, if none. We (I am an employee of Sodexo) currently have a small group of students that wish to voice their opinion in our favor, but I don't know how well that voice will be heard, or listened to, by Sodexo.
The employees at Sodexo are some of the lowest paid service workers in the nation. The pension plan is a joke, and Sodexo is talking about taking away the free health insurance.
I'm not asking for much here. I just want this information to become public with the hope that more employees and students (and anyone else wanting to help the employees) will voice their opinion of Sodexo.
