Zander's first time out hunting on the second day of the 2008 deer season. He went out with grandpa around 6:45am. They were walking down to their first spot of the morning, a nice quiet spot down near an open area in the woods. They had just settle in when a monster buck came rumbling through the brush unexpected. The deer as well as Zander and his grandfather were startled. So Zander turned and fired a great shot with his BB gun, the buck ran for about 30 yards and dropped. Zander had shot his first deer, an 8-point buck. That is Zander's story, and he's sticking to it.
So I ask grandpa the story, he backed it up. Expect for the whole who shot it, but we won't tell Zander we know.
