A one story house on Ellis Rd in the town of Morris burns on thanksgiving day morning Morris is located in Otsego county. The fire was reported around 3:30am and when crews arrived there were flames coming out of the windows of the livingroom. The fire was quickly contained to one room. The rest of the house substained water and smoke damage. All occupants were able to escape. The only injury was one of the occupants sufferd smoke inhalation. Cause of the fire is still under investigation. Morris received Mutual aid from the following Departments: West laurens, Gilbertsville, Laurens and West Oneonta Fire Departments.
