My husband Bob does absolutely NO cooking. He has no idea how to cook or bake and don't think he really wants to know. But he loves making things--especially if it's for the grandkids. He once built a giant size doll house from scratch which took him about 3 weeks of steady work. Mind you he is no contractor either but the house turned out beautiful. This Christmas he thought he would try the gingerbread house, even with all the horror stories we had heard about the mess and disappointment of making them. When I returned from an all day shopping spree the house was on the table all finished and looked amazing. Now he says it's time to take it to the grandkids house---that should be the interesting part---driving it down in the car without it being ruined---pray for good weather and good roads !!!
