At approximately 4:45pm EST, this Ford Expedition was spotted on Rte 17/I-86 Westbound in full flames, between the Appalachian and Owego exits.
This is in the "swamp" area near the Links golf course.
There was one fireman on location. It appeared that the owner/family of the vehicle had pulled the vehicle to the side of the road and had escaped without injury.
The Expedition was in full flames from the passenger compartment forward. Flaming materials could be seen melting and dropping out under the vehicle.
