A Moment of Christmas Magic

I was walking through the woods behind my house the other evening just before dusk. In the distance I thought I could hear the sound of sleigh bells and also the sound of a man chuckling. As I can closer to the sounds I noticed in the snow tiny little human footprints as well as the hoof prints of many many deer. I was completely confused as these woods were normally abandoned and nothing strange or out of the norm had ever taken place there before...to my knowledge that is. As I approached even closer I thiought I heard someone yell..."up up and away!" and then the sound of the sleighbells again..I started running in the direction of the sounds when suddenly something caught my attention out of the corner of my eye...I turned to look and to my amazement what did I see but a baby fawn huddled next to a pine tree...but what was TRULY amazing and MAGICAL was that this tiny deer was wearing on his head a red and white Santa Claus hat! I stood in wonder at what I was witnessing..the little deer stood up..winked at me once and then scampered off into the woods....I realized what I had just come across was TRUE CHRISTMAS MAGIC. I started back home with a smile in my heart.
