Beauty is in the "eye of the beholder". Just look around, there is something worth seeing, worth looking at every place you go and you don't even need to leave home. Don't be "Negative Ned/Nellie" and see a "dumb old cow" or a "mangey cat". See the beautiful color of the red and white beef cow, see the fluid movement of the cat as it meanders through the freshly fallen snow. The sparrow doesn't have the bright red of the male Cardinal or the varied blues of the Blue Jay, but if you watch closely you may see the many warm shades of brown and tan. See the sharp eyes and the fragile-looking feet as they cling to a snow covered briar branch. They are always on the alert (watch out for the cat) and their quick movements as they eat or flit from branch to branch are interesting to watch. Just take a few minutes and really look.
