It is about helping out thier Community and filling our local pantry. This is a yearly event held at the Broome Community College Ice Center and Chenango Ice Rink. All eight teams work hard at gathering food for this challenge. This is a great way to have some friendly competition off the ice. The winning team this year was Union Endicott with 604 lbs of food with a close 2nd by Maine Endwell with 602 lbs. But the greatest thing was the Grand total of 2,745 lbs that was collected by all eight teams.
