It was the last weekend in February and though the sun was shining brightly it was just 23 degrees out. Every pore was screaming to get out into nature and see how she had fared during the winter. I chose a hike in Salt Springs State Park out side of Montrose PA. Many trails were treacherous due to ice but the Hemlock trail was passible and the views were breathtaking. I wanted to share them with viewers who were thinking winter would never end. Though snow blanketed many acres of the mountainside, up under the tree canopy there was another world.
