(02 April 09 - Kirkwood, NY) The Tioga Velo Club's 2009 cycling season got off to a gorgeous start at the Kirkwood Industrial Park under brilliant blue skies and temperatures near 70*. Known regionally on the cycling circuit as the "Singer Circuit Course", this is the oldest of road courses that TVC uses, having been running club training races at this location for over 20 years now. The Singer course is also one of the more heavily used courses on the club calendar with an average of 2 races held per month at this location. Other road and time trial course are scattered across Broome and Tioga counties.
Tioga Velo Club is the premier sports / competitive cycling club in the greater Binghamton area and holds weekly road and time trial events on Tuesday and Thursday evenings through October.
