I left on vacation and when I came back two sparrows had taken over my porch light fixture. I didn't dare bother the nest, just in case it contained eggs. What you see hanging out is a dryer sheet they found, it has fallen out onto the porch, but is always back in the nest shortly after. When I open the front door the sparrows leave the nest but don't go far and they let me know they are not happy I'm on my own front porch.
