It was a glorious sunrise with the promise of rain later in the day. Remember the old saying "Red sky at night, sailors delight; Red sky in morning, sailors take warning." And the saying held true. It was a beautiful morning, but later in the day the rain came.
Of course, if I hadn't been up early I could have gotten the same prediction from the WBNG-TV weatherman.
