My wife and I took a short trip to the Lancaster Pa. area three weeks ago. We drove on the farm roads and took some pictures of the Amish farmers getting the soil ready for spring planting. They were tilling the soil with mules and horses. We spoke to several of the farmers who were glad to talk with us. We brought back many food items the Amish made to sell at there farms.
There are eight mules pulling this two bottom plow. The third picture is six horses pulling a drag and disk to smooth the ground.
