Girl Scout Troop 37 planted a Blue Spruce tree @ Gilbertsville- MT. Upton school as part of an Earth day/ community beautification project they are working on

Troop 37 strikes again

The girls of Troop 37 have been working hard this spring getting their seedlings started in recycled greenhouses, picking up garbage around town and recently planting trees in their community. The Troop purchased Blue Spruce trees for each member to take home & plant as well as a few extras for the community. On Friday May 15 they planted one of their extras at their school- Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton. They are very excited about watching their tree grow as they go through school. After planting they headed to Centennial Park to finishing weeding their garden & prepare it for planting at our next meeting. These girls love helping their community and each other-- Great job girls!!
