While photographing spring flowers for my backyard garden journal, I decided to snap a few including my patriotic heart plaque that hangs within the rockgarden. After viewing lthe photos I realized the hearts are framed in a natural "V" formed by birch trees that seemed to embody all my feelings this Memorial Day weekend. Veterans All....we salute you!
