Saturday, May 30, ten members of the Southern Tier Bicycle Club (STBC) rode from Chenango Forks to Greek Peak and back. The weather was perfect for this 57 mile ride with temperatures in the mid-60s and sunny. The riders stopped at The Gatherings Restaurant in Virgil for lunch before heading back to Chenango Forks. One highlight was riding on the new, paved trail along the south shore of Whitney Point Lake, which links the Whitney Point with Dorchester Park.

"The Southern Tier Bicycle Club (STBC) is a recreational bicycling club in the Binghamton area with over 300 members ranging in age from 11 to over 80 years old. The club was founded in 1969, and it promotes and encourages safe, enjoyable bicycling activities by offering rides of varying distance, speed, and terrain most days of the week."
