Wednesday evening, June 3rd, several members of the Ahwaga Canoe and Kayak Club paddled the Tioughnioga River for an 8 mile stretch near Marathon.

The weather and water level were ideal for the trip. Several fast moving sections provided a chance to play in the currents. The attached video was taken north of the bridge in Killawog.

With the boats out of the water and back on the cars, the fun wasn’t over yet. The final stop was at “The Scoop” ice cream parlor in Whitney Point for a tasty reward.
