Was doing my usual riverbank walk today when I noticed these geese perched on neighboring logs. Don't know if they were watching each other or not, but found it unusual that geese would perch on logs rather than sand bars or simply float in the river's water. The large group seemed to be watching something on the opposite bank, except for one that looked at me as I walked by.
