I took this picture on Sunday 05/07/02… I have never seen anything like it before… My son-in-law found it when working in my garden… He said that he had never seen this bug either… I think it is a centipede or a millipede ….. It was about 1¼ inches long and about as thick as a pencil..

If anyone out there have seen any of these before and knows what it is drop me a short note…

The first two pictures were taken with the camera flash on…The third one was taken with the camera flash off and my Granddaughter shined a flash light an it.. I think that the color is closer to natural with the flash light on it…

it is a millipede. it is the species Rudiloria trimaculata. it's a great critter to have around as they compost leaves and other decaying things into healthy soil.
