My Peony blooms just opened up the day before we had that night of hard rain and thunder. I never thought they would survive that rain and wind, but they were still there in the morning. That evening, the sun came out, and the bee's showed up. The bee was to busy to let my presence bother him! My Dahlia's perked up with the rain and sunshine too! Nothing better than Nature's vibrant colors!
