This week the Sonnenberg Gardens in Canandaigua, N.Y. celebrate their Rose Festival. They were not yet in full bloom when I visited on Tuesday. There are 4 other gardens, grounds, hothouses, great lunches and wines to sample all summer. If you like great gardens, do NOT miss this. Admission is $10, $9 for seniors. A one-tank trip.
