We bought a squirrel-proof bird feeder so we could enjoy watching the birds feed when we are on our porch. The chipmunk sits on the feeder and eats and the squirrel sits on the ground underneath eating the seed that is dropped. When they aren't eating the deer come to the buffet and eat the bird seed. Our cats enjoy the show!

The do make some good squirrel proof bird feeders, and also if you want to keep your old feeder they have some good squirrel baffles, which, if installed right, do work, see www.squirrelrepellent.net. Nice Picture! Sparky
