Some shots from the June Hare Scrambles motor cycle races held up in the hills of Richford, NY this past June 27-28 2009. This has got to be one of the coolest little events going on in the area that (apparently) no one knows about. Check it out - I heard a figure of 599 riders registered - you gotta figure that for the most part, for each rider showing up there is at least one other person tagging along with them - wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, parent(s), friends, whatever ... thats (likely) at least 1200 people up on the hill up there! Imagine if this thing was advertised and more of the general public knew about it... it could be a wicked party / good time!
Anyway - it is a cool event and I'm glad that I learned about it and was able to wander around pretty much at will and get trigger happy with my camera. :)
