being the first seargant of the Civil Air Patrol's broome tioga composite squadron,myself and many other members had a very busy weekend.starting friday night, our squadron was invited by the blue angels programs manager(known as blue angel number eight) to come to the practice airshow and have an opportunity to meet the blues. for the rest of the weekend we were providing assistance to any pilots and aircraft that needed either security teams or a team to help wingwalk.wingwalking is simply walking along the wings of an aircraft in order to prevent civilians accidentally or purposefully walking in front of a moving aircraft.or main concern was keeping the flow of people arround the C5 Galaxy regulated because of the size of the plane and the ammount of people going in and out. if anyone is interested in finding out more about civil air patrol, we meet every thursday night at 6:30(1830) at the binghamton psychiactric center ,stop by one thursday night and we'll show you what we're all about.
