Standing waves on the Susquehanna River at the confluence with the Chenango River provided two obviously experienced kayak surfers the opportunity to surf in downtown today around noon. They were clad in wetsuits and helmets, and used kayaks nicknamed 'squirt boats'. They were having a ball! Hidden gem of downtown Binghamton - waves on the Susquehanna River.
