Three cyclists on a recreational ride from Binghamton through Whitney Point were able to experience part of a triathlon. The Annual Broome County Triathlon was being conducted at Dorchester Park on Saturday, July 11. "Our bike route included a loop through the Dorchester Park Trail along the Whitney Point levy. We were able to ride through as the run leg of the triathlon was going on experiencing the thrill of the triathlon with none of the pain. Then as we headed back to Binghamton along Rt 26, I was able to capture some bird's eye shots of the runners from the scenic overlook on Rt 26."
