Yet another in a long string of car accidents occured at 12:15 PM today, Saturday July 18, 2009, at the intersection of Grand Blvd. and Crestmont Rd. in Binghamton NY. This latest accident sent a passenger to a hospital in an ambulence. Responding to the accident were a police cruiser, an EMS vehicle, a fire truck, an ambulance and a wrecker. This intersection has been the subject of much discussion over the years and also has been the feature of a channel 10 special news report. The City of Binghamton has told the local residents the installation of a roundabout was being considered for this intersection, but so far there is no indication that one will be installed. Until one is installed we can only look foward to many, many, many accidents in the future.
Another collision at Grand & Crestmont

Is this a four way stop??? If not, wouldn't that be very beneficial .... Grand Blvd and Helen is a four-way stop with a blinking red light (I believe) . and we don't here of accidents at that intersection.... why the cost of a round about? 4-way stop
