Charlie is a yearly Summer visitor to our pond. This Blue Heron is not the least bit afraid of us and spends his days fishing and catching bull frogs. He and our ducks are old friends. He is a little late this and we were worried that something had happened to him. He is usually here by mid June. It was good to see him come saling in.
