My mother and I traveled to Havelock NC to take my nephew back home and we stayed for a week long vacation. On our trip to the beach Friday, Hurricane Bill's effect on the waves was incredible. I was able to get some awesome pictures of the ocean.
While we were there surfers were out enjoying the higher than normal waves and life guards were out telling people to keep a close watch on any children swimming because the currents were getting stronger.
The waves just came crashing into the beach one right after the other. Creating such a beauty the way only nature can.
It is truly a blessing to be able to witness such beauty and power.
