Work is to begin next week to reconstruct Kennedy Park on the corner of Chenango & Henry Streets. I think it is very pretty park now (especially springtime), and it is not an eyesore. You can also see the Greyhound Bus Station in the background before it was destroyed; leaving only the front facade, barely standing, in ruin.
