Went doen to the riverbank this afternoon to see how much the river had risen from last night's rain. It has gone up a good 3 feet +, and places that I had walked on Thursday were under at least that much water. The White Egret that I had seen Thurs. was still there, now fishing in areas that I had walked 2 days ago. I saw it make several catches and managed to photograph a couple of them. One of them is represented here.
