Went down to the riverbank this afternoon to see how it had risen and found this Egret fishing in the high water. The area in which it was fishing was the same area that I walked Thursday. The river had risen more than 3 feet from Thur. The bird didn't seem to be at all shy and allowed me to get within 15 feet easily. Enabling some remarkable photos to be taken.
