On December 27, 2008 WBNG did a story about myself and Muffin entitled "A Horse for the Holidays". She was listed on craigslist as "free horse, just come get her" as no one wanted her because of her blindness. We weren't prepared for a horse at the time so we had to board her at a local facility till spring. Now Muffin is home with us and is a joy in our lives. She may not be able to see the world around her as we do, but I know she sees with her heart. She has become quite a part of our family as you can see. She likes to be wherever we are and has taken an interest in the "fine arts".
