A fire at the Norbord facilities in Deposit took firefighters from several fire companies 5 hours to extiinguish. The focus of the fire was in the rear corner in the area of the bagging department. It is unknown the immediate cause of the fire or the extent of damage. The fire comes less than two months before the facility closes and is taken over by New England Wood Pellet, LLC.
