I spotted these 3 very different fungi deep in an old growth forest in the Adirondacks. I first saw the bright red one, about 3 feet away from the red one I saw the tall white ones that looked like flower to me. About 2 feet away from there was the purplish colored round one. There was a small hole in the leaf canopy that allowed a small amount sun light to get down to the forest floor. The white one and the purplish one felt damp and cool....
