Congratulations to David Gates of Endicott who won a 1979 Corvette.

Gary's U-Pull It in Kirkwood celebrated its 30th anniversary today.

The recycling center has been in business since 1979.

More than 3 thousand people entered their names, for a chance to win the corvette.

The classic car raffle was narrowed down to 30 people.

Each contestant received a key, and Gates had the lucky one that started the ignition.

"I am absolutely amazed. I've never won anything in my life, so my boys wanted this more than I did," said Gates.

Gary's also collected donations for the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse...as part of the anniversary celebration.

Gary's recycles about 11-thousand cars a year.
