Caterpillars turning into butterflies

My son wanted to watch caterpillars turn into butterflies so they could fly to Mexico. We bought some caterpillars and fed them milk weed. It was very neat to watch them eat and grown and then form their chrysalis. This was the first one out of 5 that we let go. My son was so excited when they finally turned into beautiful butterflies and flew away. We can't wait to do it again in the Spring.

What a great Idea! Where did you get the caterpillars to do this?
