Oakley Corners: a terrific series of trails suitable for hiking, biking, and skiing - encompassing over 1000 acres in the Newark Valley area.
This was our first walk through a small portion of the trails on the southern section by the pond. We saw a couple of baby turtles hanging out by the shoreline - just floating in the shallow water. I never thought that I would call turtles "cute", but admittedly these were adorable and the highlight of our venture.
We will definitely head back to Oakley Corners for more hikes, and when our kids get older - get some mileage on our mountain bikes there!
